Often, grants can feel a little overwhelming. And yes, it can be hard to know where to start.

The obvious thing is to start at the beginning. But WHERE exactly is that?

When working with clients I describe grants as having a lifecycle. Grants (like projects or events) have a set lifetime. A defined start point, an end point and stuff in the middle.
